If you came to this site you must love the fine and decorative arts and are either considering to start your collection or need some help with an existing collection. There are many aspects to collecting, not just deciding what art or objects you like and want to acquire. Collecting is not a short-term project; it requires passion and continual education, resources such as time and money, commitment and discernment. In return, the experience of collecting is highly rewarding intrinsically, as well as potentially economically, and can be a very social activity that brings you together with people who share your interests and passions. The inherently creative experience of assembling a collection, watching it grow, the thrill of rare finds and bargains, and the unpredictable encounters with people you meet through art, are immensely exciting and even addictive. However, there are also challenges along the way—authenticity, value, preservation, cataloguing and documentation, lending and publication—with which you may want help.
We have experience in all areas of collecting and have been working with private and institutional collectors for years, assisting with various aspects of collection building. We also have built our own collections. Most recently, select loans from one of these were exhibited at an exhibition at the National Gallery of Arts in Washington,
Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes, 1909–1929: When Art Danced with Music which took place May-October 2013. We are passionate about Art and Collecting and would be happy to help you with your needs. Please send us your inquiry and we will reply you promptly.
